Itinerary In Detail |
Day 01 : Arrival in
Delhi and transfer to hotel. In the evening
check in for the night train to Dehradun
(640m). |
Day 02 : Sightseeing
of Dehradun, the gateway of Garhwal Himal.
Within the lower scales of the Himalayas and
the Shiw alik Range, Dehradun has lush green
thick forests, sparkling rivers and
enchanting valleys. Overnight in hotel. |
Day 03 : Drive
by bus over the zigzag road up to Mussoorie,
a popular hill resort. A 3km walkup to visit
the Surkanda Devi Temple. Besides peace of
mind it offers a glorious view. Overnight
hotel. |
Day 04 - 06 :
Nagtibba Trek. At the foothills of the
Garhwal Himalayan Range Nagtibba is at an
altitude of 3048m. From Thatyur to Ghodiappa
(2800m) . This part of the trek is very rich
in flora and fauna. From Nagtibba to
Nainbagh (1115m) is a downhill trek to the
picturesque village of Panthari (1524m). |
Day 07 : Drive to
the most beautiful spot in Mussoorie, the
Kempty Falls. After visiting the Yamurna
Bridge (3048m) back to Mussoorie. Overnight
hotel. |
Day 08 - 09 : Drive
to Rishikesh, a quiet and easygoing place.
Rishikesh has many Sadhus, is an excellent
place to study Hinduism, has many Ashrams
and is also the starting point for treks to
Himalayan pilgrimage centers. |
Day 10 : Excursion
to Haridwar. There is also a possibility for
a splashing rafting experience from Shipun
with an overnight in tents. |
Day 11 - 12 :
Corbett National Park (open from October
till May) is famous for its rich wildlife.
Overnight in resorts. |
Day 13 : Drive to
Delhi. |
Day 14 : Transfer
to the airport for departure.. |
