Tilicho Trek
Nepal » Trekking » Annapurna Region » Tilicho Trek
Starting from Pokhara this Trans-Himalayan adventure trek leads to one of the highest lakes, Tilicho Lake at 4919 m in the Central Himalaya. This trek takes us through two of the least visited mountain passes in Nepal, then ascend up to 5500 m and get the best views of Manaslu,Himchuli, Peak 29 and many others. The descent leads through thick jungle to Thonje and approach Tilicho Base Camp and subsequently to the Mesokanto La Pass, one of the most difficult passes in the country. The descent takes to Jomsom and fly back to Pokhara. This is a splendid summer/monsoon trek, as rewarding as it is challenging.
