The Makalu - Arun valley region is blessed with an incredible diversity of natural beauty and culture. Arun valley trek begins between two highest mountains -Mt. Everest and Makalu. It is really a non- tourist area but you can see significant views of Mt. Everest ,Makalu, and hundred of others mountains just before yours eyes. Sherpa, Rai and Limbus are the main inhabitants of this region. Walking north up the Arun river to Sedua and Num, then crossing Barun La (4110m) into the upper Barun Khola valley for a close look at Makalu. You can put together an even wilder trek by crossing Sherpani Col and west Col into the upper Hongu valley. The highest point of this trek is Salpa Bhanjyang where you can visit holy Salpa Lake (3414m) as well.

Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu & Transfer to hotel
Day 02 : Permit preparation day
Day 03 : Fly to Tumlingtar
Day 04 : Trek from Tumlingtar to Kartike Ghat
Day 05 : Trek from Kartike Ghat to Gothe Bazaar
Day 06 : Trek from Gothe Bazaar to Salpa Phedi (1680m)
Day 07 : Trek from Salpa Phedi to Guranse, 2880m. Crossing over Salpa Pass, 3349m.
Day 08 : Trek from Guranse to Share
Day 09 : Trek from Share to Bung.
Day 10 : Trek from Bung to Najingdingma, 2650m.
Day 11 : Trek from Najingdingma to Pangum, 2850m.
Day 12 : Trek from Pangum to Puiyan, 2730m.
Day 13 : Trek from Puiyan to Lukla, 2840m. The last day with trekking crew.
Day 14 : Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu.
Day 15 : Free day.
Day 16 : Transfer to airport for onwards Journey
