This trek is ideal for those with less time but who want good views of Mt. Everest. It provides a good insight into Sherpa culture without being too strenuous for high altitude trekking. Our destination is up to the village of Tengboche with its famous monastery where we have time to soak up the atmosphere along with some tremendous views of the beautiful peak of Ama Dablam. There are two points on this trek where there are good views of Everest. The first is on the way to Namche and there are also excellent views from Tengboche.

Itinerary:

Day 01 : Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2804m), we then take an easy walk to Phakding (2610m)
Day 02 : Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m.)
Day 03 : Rest at Namche Bazar for acclimatization. Early morning climb of 500m for spectacular views of Everest and other peaks.
Day 04 : Trek to Tengboche Monastery (3850m)
Day 05 : Trek to Khumjung village (3789 m)
Day 06 : Trek to Phakding (2652 m)
Day 07 : Trek to Lukla.
Day 08 : Flight back to Kathmandu.
