Gokyo Renjo Pass Trek

This relatively new itinerary passes through the Renjo (5345 m), Cho La (5420 m) and Kongma La (5535 m). These less frequented high passes accentuate the alpine aspect of the trek. The Renjo Pass (5345 m) route is off the usual beaten track with a great view of Gokyo Lakes on one side, the Ringmo Pokhari lakes on the other side and a myriad of snowy peaks in the backdrop. From Gokyo village we do a day climb to Gokyo Peak (5480 m) and enjoy stunning mountain scenery including the summits of Everest, Makalu and Cho Oyu.

Day 01: Fly to Lukla & trek to Phakding(2,610)
Day 02: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440)
Day 03: Rest day at Namche Bazaar
Day 04: Trek to Thame
Day 05: Trek to Langden (4300m)
Day 06: Rest day at Langden
Day 07: Trek to Gokyo via Renjo La (5390)
Day 08: Excursion to Gokyo Ri (5483) & back to Gokyo (4400m)
Day 09: Trek to Thore
Day 10: Trek to Phortse
Day 11: Trek to Pangboche
Day 12: Visit Tengboche Monastery
Day 13: Trek to Namche Bazaar
Day 14: Trek to Lukla
Day 15: Fly to Kathmandu.
