Manaslu Trekking
Nepal » Trekking » Off the Beaten Trek » Manaslu Trekking
This trek circumnavigates the Manaslu range and is one of the most recently opened wilderness treks. Although it is a strenuous trek visiting remote areas, it is rewarded with brilliant mountain vistas of the Ganesh and Manaslu Himal ranges and insights into the cultures of a cross-section of ethnic Nepalese tribes, perhaps not available on any other trek. Starting in the lush green lower hills you will pass through middle hills and finally emerge onto the high, arid desert region that is actually a part of the Tibetan Plateau. This trek crosses of the challenging Larkya La Pass requiring a high level of physical stamina.
