Season : September to January, & early Feb to late June.

Transportation : Bus, Car, Land Cruiser or Jeep
Total days : 8 days (Kathmandu - Kathmandu)
Trekking Hour : Approximately 5 - 6 hours each day

Description : A trek up into the Langtang Valley has to be one of the most rewarding of the short treks available anywhere in Nepal. The east-west running valley is the site of some spectacular alpine scenery as well as being a great place to meet a unique people. A minimum of one week is required but trekkers are well advised to add a few extra days for acclimatization and for side trips in the valley. During part of the trek you will be walking through the National Park, and through wild life is never easy to spot in a forest setting, there are several chances to see rare wild animals, Red Panda as well many others like Monkey, Muskdeers, Pika, the national bird of Nepal Danfe.

 

Itinerary In Detail

Day 01 : Kathmandu –Dhunche by bus .

Day 02 : Dhunche-Thulo Syapru.

Day 03 : Thulo Syapru-Lama Hotel.

Day 04 : Lama Hotel-Langtang Village.

Day 05 : Langtang Village –Kyangjin Gompa.

Day 06 : Day hike over the valley.

Day 07 : Kyangjin Gompa-Lama Hotel.

Day 08 : Lama Hotel-Syapru Bensi.

Day 09 : Syapru Bensi-Kathmandu by bus
