Maximum altitude : 5360m.

Grade info : Moderate + Streuous
Transportation : Bus, Car, Land Cruiser or Jeep

Description : Beginning from Beni on the Kali Gandaki River, this superb trekking route ascends the lovely and unspoiled valley of the Myagdi Khola, which flows southwards from the heart of the Dhaulagiri Himal. After 10 days of walking, through an ever-changing landscape, with numerous picturesque villages, we reach Dhaulagiri Base Camp and prepare ourselves for the crux of our route - the crossing of the "French Pass" (17580ft.). This tough, but technically straightforward pass, lies close beneath the northern slopes of Dhaulagiri (26788ft.) and the mountain views on this part of the trek are simply sensational. We have allowed a day for exploration of the remarkable Hidden Valley before we cross Dhampus Pass (17220ft.) and make the long descent to Marpha. Our last few days follow the route of the Annapurna Circuit back to Pokhara. This is adventure travel at its best - a spectacular trek in a rarely-visited part of Nepal.
