Trekking In Off The Beaten Track

Panch Pokhari Trek

Minimum altitude : 1010m
Maximum altitude : 4150m.
Season : September to December, & early Feb to late June.

Transportation : Bus, Car, Land Cruiser or Jeep
Total days : 16 days (Kathmandu - Kathmandu)
Trekking Hour : Approximately 6 - 7 hours each day

Description : : Panch Pokhari is named after 5 holy ponds and Hindus religiously respect the place. This is just northeast of Kathmandu toward snow wall. The beautiful Himalayan view and pristine nature with district culture is the most attraction of this trek.

We take a bus ride out of the valley and up through the hills. After 5 hours bus ride we arrive at the trek starting point called Chautara. We are going to spend the first night of our outdoor adventure right nearby small town in a ground. Our guide gives a short lesson of trekking on the first night. He also explains about the altitude sickness and all the beautiful sports from where you can see an excellent view of mountains.

 

Itinerary In Detail

Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu transfer to hotel.

Day 02 : Sight seeing in Kathmandu valley.

Day 03 : Trek to Chautara, camp

Day 04 : Trek to Sano Okhareni, camp

Day 05 : Trek to Kami Karka

Day 06 : Trek to Pauwa Base, camp

Day 07 : Trek to Hille Bhanjyang, camp

Day 08 : Trek to Narsim Pati, camp

Day 09 : Trek to Panch Pokhari

Day 10 : Trek to Panch Pokhari Top - Tupi Danda, camp

Day 11 : Trek to Dhap, camp

Day 12 : Dhap Rest day and Explore the culture, camp

Day 13 : Trek to Melamchi, camp

Day 14 : Drive to Kathmandu, transfer to hotel

Day 15 : Kathmandu free day hotel

Day 16 : Final Departure
