Mera Peak ClimbingMera Peak is considered one of the most popular trekking Peaks in Nepal. It is situated in the Everest region to the east of the main Khumbu trekking trails. The trail follows the main Everest trekking route from Lukla, crossing the high ridges and spectacular deep river gorges of the Sherpa homeland of Everest region. Being a non technical mountain, it is suitable for anyone of average or above average fitness wishing to fulfill the dream of scaling a high Himalayan summit or those with a yearning for adventure. Besides, the charm of climbing Mera Peak , the trek to its base camp from Lukla would be an unforgettable memory and experience offering superb scenery and wildlife. The routes crossing Amphu Laptsa (5780 m) and the Mingbo La (5780 m) provide some of the most adventurous trekking with spectacular scenery through remote glaciated valleys and passes.

Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu & transfer to Hotel
Day 02: Fly Kathmandu to Lukla (2,840m) & Trek to Puyan (2800 m)
Day 03: Trek to Pangkongma (2,846m)
Day 04: Trek to Nashing Dingma (2,600m)
Day 05: Trek to Chalem Kharka (3,600m)
Day 06: Trek to Chunbu Kharka (4,200m)
Day 07: Trek to Hinku Valley & Continue to Thaksingdingma (3600m)
Day 08: Trek to Thangnak (4350m)
Day 09: Trek to Khare (5100m)
Day 10: Trek to Mera La (5400m)
Day 11: Rest / Exploration Day for Acclimatization
Day 12: Continue to High Camp (5800m)
Day 13: Summit the Mera Peak (6,654 m /21,830 ft)
Day 14 - 17: Trek back to Lukla
Day 18: Fly back to Kathmandu (1,310m)Note: Mera peak climbing trekking trip can be organized combined with lodge+ camping (tented camp). We stay at lodge while on trek and in tent while climbing.
