The river originates from the high Tibetan Plateau of Mustang and plunges down through remote canyons and deep gorges between Mt. Dhaulagiri and Mt. Annapurna for five days with intense rapids among gorgeous wilderness and mountain views. The river flows 120 km for three days of intense rapids through gorgeous wilderness and beautiful mountain views. Trips on the Kali Gandaki offer an exciting alternative to the Trishuli River and can be combined with further trip to Pokhara, Chitwan and trekking in the Annapurna region.
Day 01: Drive/Fly to Pokhara & transfer to hotel
Day 02: Three hours early morning drive to Nayapul, put in point of this river trip. Here our rafting guide will explain you how everything is working as well as giving you general information regarding the trip. After pumping the raft, we go rafting around 3 hours. Camp nearby Modibeni.
Day 03: Raft about 4 hours enjoying plenty of adrenaline and spectacular scenery. Views of Annapurna 1 and Himachuli are interspersed with continuous grade 3 rapids, culminating with the challenging grade 4 rapids of "Refund" and "Tombstone and camp at Purtighat.
Day 04: Rafting about 2 hours ends at Mirmi Dam and after lunch transfer to Pokhara by minibus.
