After arrival to Lhasa and sightseeing of Potala Palace, Sera Monastery, Norbulingka, Jokhang Temple, colorful Barkhor Markets & Drepung Monastery you will set out on high altitude Everest adventure tour with our expert local Tibetan guide. Leaving Lhasa by 4 wheel drive you will drive past through picturesque landscape, Tibetan settlements where nomadic herdsmen can be seen wandering across the wide arid Tibetan Plateau. This adventure overland journey takes you over several 5000+ meter high mountain passes amidst most amazing mountain views including majestic Mount Everest, Cho Oyu, Makalu, Shisapangma and many other numerous peaks. Overland adventure ride also takes you through Shigatse (Xigatse) which has significant Tashilumpu monastery and many interesting sites. Trekking trip begins from Rongbuk ascending towards Base camp, Camp I, Camp II and finally camp III at 6340 meter where you can get as close to the summit of Everest as any non-climber can go.

Day 01: Fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa (3650 m.) & transfer to hotel
Day 02: Sightseeing tour in Lhasa
Day 03: Sightseeing tour in Lhasa
Day 04: Drive Lhasa to Gyantse/Shigatse (3900 m.)
Day 05: Drive Shigatse to Lhatse via Sakya (3950 m.)
Day 06: Drive Lhatse to Xegar (4500 m.)
Day 07 to 10: 4 days trekking from the Xegar Check point to Rongbuk Monastery via Pang La and Phadhruchi, o/n at camp
Day 11 & 12: Trek around Rongbuk & Everest Base Camp, camping or at Rongbuk Monastery
Day 13: Drive back to Shigatse , Overnight in Shigatse
Day 14: Drive Shigatse to Lhasa
Day 15: Fly Lhasa to Kathmandu or continue your onward journey
