Ganden Samye trek is one of the most finest and adventurous trekking in central Tibet. This trek begins from a Ganden Valley visiting a famous Ganden Monastery which is situated about 45 km east of Lhasa on the highway which follows the south bank of Kyi Chu to Medro Gongkar. This is an excellent basic trek which combines important historical sites with a beautiful hike through high-altitude nomadic areas.

Itinerary:
Day 01: Fly Kathmandu to Lhasa & transfer to hotel
Day 02-03: Full day Lhasa Sightseeing
Day 04: Drive to Ganden (4500 m) & trek begins, Camp
Day 05: Trek to Yama Do/ Base camp of Shu Gala Pass, Camp
Day 06: Trek to Tsotung Chu Valley
Day 07: Trek to Herder's Camp
Day 08: Trek to Wango
Day 09: Trek to Samye & drive to Tsetang & visit monastery & tombs
Day 10: Explore the Yarlung valley
Day 11: Fly back to Kathmandu or continue onwards journey
