Tourist suffered less in Maoist strike |

The impact of the third-day of Maoist-called bandh was seen throughout the country with vehicles staying off the road and markets and offices shut on Tuesday, too.
But UCPN (Maoist) called of three day general strike from Tuesday afternoon allowing running vehicles and open markets.
Demonstrators had gathered on the streets to impose the bandh, while the general public were seen walking on the streets to reach their destination. The general life is creeping within this three days period of Maoist so- called banda but within this period also emergency services like hotel, tourism, aviation are in work. In the city area tourist shuttle services are running with the load of tourist from hotels to TIA and TIA to hotels. |
