The pristine Rara Lake and Rara National Park are a beautifully preserved alpine reserve in western Nepal . This is a total wilderness trek following off the beaten track from Jumla. This is a short and very rewarding trek with stunning views and different cultural experience than rest of Nepal. The Rara Lake lies at an altitude of 2980 m surrounded by pine, spruce and juniper forests and snow capped mountains on the skyline. This extremely beautiful lake is the biggest one in Nepal and the Rara National Park is also known for rare animal like the gaur, musk deer,yellow-throated martin and a wide variety of birds such as the impeyan pheasant, kalij. You have high chances of seeing most of these animals while on the trek.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu & transfer to hotel
Day 02: Fly to Nepalgunj
Day 03: Fly to Jumla (2370m).
Day 04: Trek to Danphe Lagna (3130m).
Day 05: Trek to Chautha (2770m).
Day 06: Trek to Dhotu (2380m).
Day 07: Trek to Rara Lake (3062 m)
Day 08: Rest and explore around Rara Lake.
Day 09: Trek to Ghorasingha (3190m).
Day 10: Trek to Sinja (2440m).
Day 11: Trek to Jaljala (3270m).
Day 12: Trek to Jumla.
Day 13: Fly to Nepalgunj and to Kathmandu .
Day 14: Rest day in Kathmandu
Day 15: Fly back home
