Meghanad Timalsina (Thakur):

He has been in the adventure tourism business since 1995. Born in a tiny village in the west of Nepal, his interest in tourism started at the early age of thirteen when he found foreign tourists visiting his beautiful village. He started guiding them to and around the mountains and explained them about the geography, culture and people of the region. After completing high school level education he came to Kathmandu and started his career in the travel industry. Working his way “up the trekking ladder” to become a senior mountain guide. In this role he underwent several intensive training courses on Adventure Tourism, including Wilderness First Aid and Mountain Rescue Operations under the guidance of tourism related organizations in Nepal. Thakur has many exceptional qualities, his prompt and thorough replies regarding all pre-tour correspondence and arrangements with his attention to every detail makes booking with Himalaya Heart a relatively simple process. He has excellent English and a very friendly attitude towards hydra people which helps to project a very strong image of the way the company operates.

Kamal Prasad Bhatta:

Kamal was born and raised in the Western region of Nepal where he developed a passion for adventure tourism. He has spent over 10 years in mountain tourism. He has completed several courses on mountaineering, eco-tourism, high altitude medicine, first aid and emergency procedures. He is an experienced and knowledgeable guide, well-liked by many of our returning clients who have participated on treks and mountain expeditions with him in the past. He is well versed in English, German and has knowledge of other foreign languages.

Shital Chandra Dharel:

Shital holds the position of sales executive in the company. He has many years of experience in Tourism with an enthusiasm and passion for what he does. Over the years he has engaged in a variety of courses relevant to the travel industry and has led many treks to the Annapurna, Langtang & Everest regions. He has also scaled mountain peaks above 6,500 meters including Mera Peak, Island Peak and Ama Dablam. He has completed courses in remote area first-aid and eco-tourism organized through KEEP, a Kathmandu-based NGO. He is fluent in spoken English.
